Brilliaura policies

Cookie Policy

A plain-language inventory of the cookies and similar browser storage used by Brilliaura, including which choices are optional.

Effective October 7, 2026Version 1.0

How Brilliaura uses browser storage

Cookies are small browser records. Brilliaura also uses local storage for a ring configuration. Essential storage operates only to provide a requested feature, protect the service, remember an order or delivery choice, or record your consent. Non-essential marketing storage is disabled unless the relevant choice permits it.

Essential authentication and security

The Auth.js session cookie keeps a signed-in account authenticated for up to 7 days. The __Host-brilliaura_guest credential protects a guest cart and checkout using a rolling lifetime of about 24 hours. Security and request controls may also rely on short-lived framework cookies. These are essential and cannot be disabled through Cookie Settings; blocking them in the browser may prevent account or checkout features from working.

Checkout, delivery and private-order access

brilliaura-delivery-country remembers a country selected for accurate availability, delivery and pricing for up to 1 year. brilliaura_order_access provides private guest access to a completed order for up to 90 days. These records are created only when the related feature is used and are treated as essential to the requested service.

Ring-builder storage

brilliaura-ring-builder is local browser storage, not a cookie. It preserves the ring configuration on the same device until replaced or cleared. It is used only when the builder is used and can be removed through browser site-data controls.

Optional marketing identifier

brilliaura_mid is a first-party, HttpOnly identifier with a maximum lifetime of 1 year. When Marketing is accepted, it may recognise a returning visitor, connect campaign attribution and storefront interactions, and avoid duplicate marketing identities. Rejecting Marketing prevents new tracking or attribution events and removes this browser identifier. The audited site does not currently load third-party advertising pixels or third-party analytics cookies.

Your choices

Use Cookie Settings to accept all optional categories, reject non-essential categories, or save a custom selection. You can change your choice later using the Cookie Settings link in the footer. Browser controls can also delete site data, but blocking essential cookies may break sign-in, cart, checkout, delivery preferences, order access, or the ring builder.

Global Privacy Control and updates

Where the browser exposes a Global Privacy Control signal and no prior choice is stored, Brilliaura treats it as a rejection of non-essential tracking. This inventory must be updated before a new analytics, advertising, embedded-media, or similar technology is enabled.

Contact

Contact the published support address with cookie or privacy questions. See the Privacy Policy for information about rights requests and the broader use of personal information.

Payment and optional sign-in providers

Razorpay technology is loaded when a customer opens the payment step and may use storage required to provide secure payment and fraud-prevention services. If Google or Apple sign-in is configured and selected, the browser is redirected to that provider, where the provider may use its own necessary storage under its privacy notice. These services are activated by the requested payment or sign-in flow rather than for Brilliaura advertising.
